We’re excited to announce a new initiative, Illuminate Brain Fog. This research project aims to improve the way brain fog is defined and measured in people living with Central Disorders of Hypersomnolence (CDoH) – including narcolepsy (with and without cataplexy) and idiopathic hypersomnia (IH).
We invite adults affected by narcolepsy and IH to enroll in the project and deepen understanding of brain fog by responding to a series of short surveys. Sleep Consortium will use the learnings to assess current tools for evaluating brain fog and guide development of a more comprehensive, patient-centered questionnaire and scale to aid therapy development and clinical care.
- Begin by completing this short questionnaire. Your responses will help us guide you through the process. Adults aged 18 and over who have narcolepsy and/or IH are welcome to participate. All responses will be kept confidential.
- Upon completion of the questionnaire, participants will be invited to attend an onboarding session to orient them to the Illuminate Brain Fog project, the DREAMS Portal, and the survey series. We’ll stay in touch with you and support you all along the way!
Your participation in this project will have a meaningful impact on how brain fog is understood and evaluated in clinical care and research. Thank you in advance for your interest in shining a brighter light on the real experience and impacts of brain fog!
